Hutong Tour with Rickshaw Ride

  • Tour available from 09:00-15:00 daily, the duration of the tour is two hours.
  • Car driver pick you up from your hotel at the time you prefer (must between 09:00-15:00), transfer to Bell Tower and Drum Tower, from where, the Hutong Tour start. The Drum Tower was built in 1420, has several drums, which were beaten to mark the hours of the day in old China period. On the Drum Tower, while overlooking the hutongs around, the Tour guide will explain to you how the old Beijing city being structured, the history of Beijing city, the origin of the hutongs.
  • Left Drum Tower, the rickshaw drive you through the hutongs, along the becautiful ShiChaHai, get off the rickshaw until arrived YinDingQiao (Silver Rock Bridge). With the tour guide, walking inside of the hutongs, stop at the old courtyards.
  • Visit an local family residents in the hutongs, learn their lifestyles and local Beijingers' custom.
  • Rickshaw drive you to "GongWang Fu" (Gong's Palace), Prince Gong was the sixth son of Qing Emperor "Dao Guang".
  • Car driver drive you back to your hotel, finish the tour.
