Lama Temple

Lama Temple (Yonghe Gong) - used to be a residence of Count Yin Zhen, who was promoted to emperor and moved out to stay in Forbidden City. This place was converted into a lamasery and became a residence for large numbers of monks from Mongolia and Tibet. This is also the most colourful temple in Beijing - beautiful gardens, stunning frescoes and tapestries, and incredible carpentry.

  • 09:00am, the driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby, drive to the Lama Temple (Yonghe Gong)
  • Lunch and tea break time.
  • Drive to Beijing Zoo
  • Jade Spring Mountain. In Qing and Ming Dynasty, the mineral water from the spring on this mountain used to be sent to the Forbidden City for their exculsively use.
  • Drive back to hotel.
