Hotel Description
Dong Fang Hotel is located in the downtown of Qingdao notes for coastal scenery, well-protected environment,mild climatic conditions and fantastic architectures of Chinese and Ewstern styles. The hotel is on the bank of Huiquan Bay, a few minute walk disatnce to local tourist attractions, such as Zhanqiao Pier, Luxun Park, Navy Museum, Mt. Xiaoyushan Park and Zhongshanlu Shopping Center. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to Qingdao Railway Station and 30 minutes to Qingdao Int'l Airport.

Even though this hotel is not does not have a beach location, many Western travelers give it good marks for its comfortable, clean rooms at reasonable prices. It's not luxurious, but there's a full range of facilities and the service is quite good overall. The helpful staff speaks some English.
